Who will be next?
The subject of women’s wrestling is a topic that sparks many debates. Some people think that girls are not strong enough to wrestle, and should compete in less intense sports like cheerleading or gymnastics instead.

Who will be next?

Every year, @somarselect and Somar Wrestle take on a project of taking wrestlers who weren’t known or haven’t accomplished much yet and improving them to amazing heights.
2017- @_dymondguilford goes from first year wrestler to state champion Fargo finalist in 1 year
2018- @monaefoo goes from 1-2 at state to state Finalist weighed in at 121 for Folkstyle nationals bumped up to chase down a match still All Americans
2019- @chamira_cooper goes from first year wrestler to state placer in a weight that had 3 national champions
2020- @rebeca.camacho15 goes from first year wrestler to state Finalist
2021- @ggracefacee goes from not qualifying for state to state champ.and 4th in the nation
So we ask again, who will be the next one to make the jump from unaccomplished to major accomplished.
Hard to find any coaches who aren’t just jumping into the top kids corners, but developing kids to be at the top.
